Four Favorites + A Beautiful Day

Happy Hump Day everybody! The weather in Pittsburgh today is the stuff of legend--seriously it is GORGEOUS outside. Honestly I think the sun and warmth are responsible for my good attitude; I have an exam today...I should not be this peppy! Anyway, we're halfway through the week which means it's time to link up with Let It Be Beautiful and Fancy Things for Four Favorites! This week is random favorites. Here are a few of the things that have caught my eye in the past few weeks. 

- I don't think there is anyone who doesn't love Stephanie Sterjovski's prints. I love this one from her holiday collection. Also just made available are prints done with Glitter Guide which I already love as well!

- The door hanger says it all. This applies to my entire semester: if I could be in Paris rather than in class that would be ideal.

- This Burberry umbrella is definitely out of my budget, but that doesn't mean I can't stare at it online for hours. Burberry + leopard = wonderful!

- Fall is here which means my nails are going deep: blues, reds and greens. Bordeaux is my favorite nail color to wear in the fall!

Four Favorites

The work week is almost over. Just today and tomorrow then I can have a 3-day weekend! Unfortunately it's not the same three days as everyone else around here (I work on Memorial Day!) I thought today I would revisit a link up that I did awhile ago. It was a lot of fun and I got a lot of positive feedback from it. This one comes courtesy of let it be beautiful and fancy things. My four favorites are just some pieces that I spotted (on Pinterest) this week that tickled my fancy. How cute is that dress?! However, the ELLE nail polish is a favorite from experience. I love their nail polish! It is surprisingly long lasting--I type a lot so nail polish does not typically stay on my nails long! My favorite color is their coral color.

Beauty: A Polished Look

Regardless of what it does to my nails--I do give them some periods of breathing time!--I almost always have nail polish on. I cannot say that I am particularly picky with brands just as long as it looks nice, has some staying powers since I spend a lot of time typing, but doesn't put up too much of a fight when I do go to remove it, I will be a dutiful consumer. I am, however, picky with my colors. I tend to go in seasons. I reserve darker colors for fall and winter. You will never see me sporting a gothic black nail polish during the warm spring and summer months. I though that today I would share some of my favorite spring/summer colors with you!

1. Coral: This is currently the color of my toes. It's very fun and has just enough "pop!" for my style.

2. Mint: My color obsession this season! I may just dye my nails this color--kidding of course! But I really do love it. I find it to be a very pretty, crisp color.

3. White: This is one of the beauty trends this spring. I especially like that it makes me look just a bit tanner than I actually am. I call it the magic color.

Beauty: Favorite Mani

Lately I have been so picky about my nails. I have changed them three times in the past two weeks. But  this new coat that I have now is magical in my eyes. I have never tried mint on before, and I love it! Maybe it is just because of the dawn of spring but I adore how it looks and how refreshing it is.
