Day 2: In 10 Years...

I am the kind of person who thinks about the future constantly. I like to forget the past and ponder the things to come--meanwhile, the present could use some more attention! But the present is not going to get it's deserved attention in this post. Day two's question is this: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I must admit that much of that kind of thinking has been put aside for thoughts of classes, exams and essays but I love a good daydreaming session, so here it goes!

Exactly 10 years from now, I will be getting ready to turn 29 and will NOT be panicking about being on the edge between my 20s and 30s. I hope that I will be well set on my ideal career path and embracing the ups and downs that are inevitable on that front. I would very much like to be married by that point or at least in a very loving relationship. Maybe kids, maybe not yet...I'm not going to set that deadline in stone. In 10 years I would like to have quite a few adventures and good times to look back on--basically all those trips to Europe that my friends and I have been talking about need to happen! I want to be worldly and have had experiences (but will continue with even more!) In 10 years I see a happy women who is very content with little to no regrets and with much more wisdom.

So now it's your turn...

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Oh Happy Day!

This is where I get to live next year :)

Good morning everyone!

As we know yesterday was Wednesday and by now I am just you know my feelings towards Wednesdays...I don't like it at all! I'm just so busy and feel so rushed on that day. But yesterday was the day that my friend picked housing for next year. Her and I were intending to be roommates and were very concerned because upperclassmen housing is literally the most frustrating thing ever. Doubles seem difficult to come by; most people get suites (3 or more people), singles, or live off campus. But she found a double and we are living together next year! We even get our own bathroom and a nice table and chairs.

I couldn't be happier; I get to live with one of my best friends and we get a pretty sweet living space. I can breathe easier now--until, of course, class registration next week. :|

For those of you in college or beyond, what was the most frustrating or relieving moment?

First Day of Spring

Yesterday was indeed the first day of the ever beautiful spring season. Even though it did not go over 45 degrees many people were excited to put their spring fashions forward on campus. Even I opted for my lighter, pink trench coat as opposed to my peacoat. Many were also flocking to Rita's for their free Italian ice.

To make things better, the sun was even out and it's out again today. This is quite a strange phenomena haha! I just love the general feeling around campus knowing that it is a new season. Soon the weather will get warmer and we will all once again be outside taking walks, studying on the lawn, playing frisbee etc. Studying for finals will be a little less painful studying on a blanket in the sun on the lawn of the plaza.

What is the best thing about spring for you?
